It is no secret that I do not sleep anywhere near as much as I should. Even though it’s summer and I don’t have any all-night paper writing sessions I still manage to find myself awake at 1 and 2 am. All those late nights wreak havoc on my skin, especially my undereye area. Couple that with the fact that hereditarily I have really dark under eyes and you have really nice matched set of designer undereye bags and circles. When VII Code reached out and asked if I would be interested in trying the VII Code O2M Oxygen Eye Pads I was intrigued. I wasn’t sure how an eye pad could possibly stay put for 8 hours and I didn’t think it would make that big of a difference. Anyway, y’all know I’m a sucker for a good mask so I figured I would give it a try.

This is an 8-hour treatment and it can be used overnight which is the method I recommend. I was skeptical as to how well the pads would stay in place as I slept but they stuck!

Usage

I received a box with 6 treatment packs. VII Code recommends treatment 2-3 times a week for three boxes worth. I have been using them 2 times a week and I’ve noticed a huge difference in how sunken and dark my undereye looks.

Application

I was really not sure how application of these would go, when you open each individual packet there are two eye pads on a plastic tray and each eye pad has a thin plastic sheet protecting the gel. You want to apply these after you’ve done all your normal skincare steps. When you’re ready to apply, you simply peel off the protective plastic sheeting, and stick it on. I do recommend trying to make sure you get your placement right on the first try as the gel is extremely sticky, but if you need to reposition there is no discomfort and it’s super easy to do so. The pads feel a bit weird at first but once you get used to them being there, they have an almost cooling effect and it provides a soothing feeling as you fall asleep.

Thoughts

These are surprisingly super effective! I started seeing results after one use, there wasn’t a huge difference in my undereye circles at first but the puffiness was gone and my entire under eye looked refreshed and revitalized. Now that I’ve finished four treatments I’ve noticed a difference in how dark my undereye area is as well. If you’re looking to refresh and wake up your eye area you should definitely give the  VII Code O2M Oxygen Eye Pads a try! I’m so excited to see my results once I’ve finished the box and I will definitely keep yall updated!
